B—
This B is for brushes.
My custom brush set has been on high rotation since 2015 I know for multiple of you that they’ve become your ride or die.
I’m in full agreement.
Keep them clean with a quick hand wash and dry laying flat, or you can invest in a brush cleaner (I like cinema secrets)
What’s more they are the softest, densest easy to blend little lovers that might ever touch your face. I heart these guys and I have some lurking in my makeup stash so if you are in need let me know.
Brows baby
If you are in Brisbane let me introduce you to the brow fairies at I-boutique (head to insta to lose a night to brow scrolling) in Bulimba. Kat is my go to brow girl and this experience is life changing. She did come into my life at an ever-stressful time when my brows had just exited stage left.
Brows frame the face. Fact.
My top tips for fab brows- do a good exfoliation a few days before your treatment, wash your hair and get ready for brows of your life. You’ll need to keep them dry for two weeks after so I have found the best success to get them done in winter.
In between times I love the tinted brow gels by Kosas….they have a ton of shades to choose from.
Next up for the Bs is blush. I’ve had blush blindness before it was even a thing. I fell in love with those tiny round pots al a bourjois hard. The words of my sister are still emblazoned in my brain “what happened to your cheeks”
Health Emma. Health happened to me cheeks.
The number one trick for adding life to your dull dying dead face. Pat on the blush and thank me later.
Thankfully we’ve came on leaps and bounds with natural crème formulas.
You’ll see me reaching for cream formulas over powder as they add life and bounce to the skin with added hydration.
Ok that’s B! There’s more…I’ll keep adding as we go. Bye lovers.
